There is a lot of discussion is going on Google’s Social search termed as Google Search Plus. Which is actually Google’s attempt to integrate Its new social network Google+. Initially Twitter has complained about the search results which are largely tilted towards Google’s own product. lots of articles have been written about companies step. Some consider it as Google’s biggest mistake, some consider it as Google’s monopolistic Step and most alarming is if it is the violation of  Electronic Privacy Information.

Regarding the New Feature, company have stated on its blog that with the new personalized search will work in the following way

  1. Personal Results, which enable you to find information just for you, such as Google+ photos and posts—both your own and those shared specifically with you, that only you will be able to see on your results page;
  2. Profiles in Search, both in autocomplete and results, which enable you to immediately find people you’re close to or might be interested in following; and,
  3. People and Pages, which help you find people profiles and Google+ pages related to a specific topic or area of interest, and enable you to follow them with just a few clicks. Because behind most every query is a community.

Now You see these two buttons for personal or non personal search. personal search brings results of categories mentioned above.

personalized results looks like the figure below

But in my point of view if Google modifies its social search integration a bit, and instead of  placing it with the search as Google currently have done Google should place it in the You+ tab. Because its more obvious that You+ indicates Your Social and personal content. If Google go for it then there is no point to complaining about and freaking  about Google prioritizing its own content instead of linking out to third-party sites.

On the other hand it demolishes  people’s concerns about Electronic Privacy Information Violation  because a few months back a news came out and every one was  talking about the  Microsoft Leaked Its Own Social Networking Secret. Some think that is was an accident other think it was intentional. but i want to make a point here which is one of its feature  “social search with Bing ”

It is quit obvious that Microsoft has already built that social search which Google has just launched and no one have talked about it because Microsoft is not a big player in social networking. But the issue is the same, if Microsoft’s social search is not  a violation of Electronic Privacy Information then Google has not came with some thing different, its the same thing. but Google have placed at wrong place and should Move it to +You tab.

The Twitter account of FoxNews.com’s political news feed, FoxNewspolitics was hacked on Monday 07,2011, the company said, and released several false tweets saying that President Barack Obama had been shot dead.

“Those reports are incorrect, of course, and the president is spending the July 4 holiday with his family,” Foxnews.com said on Monday in statement saying its site had been hacked.

“Hackers sent out several malicious and false tweets that President Obama had been assassinated,” the statement said.

“The hacking is being investigated, and FoxNews.com regrets any distress the false tweets may have created.”

It was the latest incident in a series of high-profile global wave of hackings over the past few weeks.

Nokia has confirmed the date of its Nokia World conference.
News groups has reported that Nokia has confirmed the date for its London-based Nokia World conference.

The annual get together is happening on October 26, 2011.

According to multiple sources, Nokia says that it is still bang on schedule with its Windows Phone project, which means no delays and a device by the end of the year as promised by new head-honcho, Stephen Elop.

France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, England, and Spain will be getting the Nokia/Windows Phone first – those in the US will have to wait.

What we’re not sure of is what kind of specification the handsets will be packing.

Of course Nokia will need to make a statement of intent with these handsets, so we’re thinking big hardware (dual core processors), NFC, DLNA, 4G, 1GB of RAM, lots of storage, an awesome Carl Zeiss camera (8 or 12-megapixels) and a beautiful design.

If Nokia gets all these in, which we really hope it does, the ailing Finnish phone giant might just be able to turn around its fortunes. We’ve just got this sneaking suspicion that Nokia is going to play it safe – and by safe we mean 2010 specs.

Why? Simple, just look at the Nokia N9 – it’s hardly breathtaking in the specs department. Sure it’s got MeeGo, but is that enough? We don’t think so, and when you stack it up against the likes of the iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S2 it will, no doubt, pale in comparison.

Nonetheless, Nokia will be releasing 10 Windows Phone handsets in the coming 12 months.

At present though, no one really knows what the devices are going to be like – will they all have similar spec? Will some be better than others? How will Nokia differentiate the handsets?
